Virginia Medical Cannabis Certification

Dr. Johnson provides telehealth medical marijuana evaluations for Virginia residents.

While Virginia no longer requires registration with the Cannabis Control Authority, you still need a written certification from a licensed practitioner. Certifications are good for 1 year, unless the provider determines an earlier end date. Schedule your consultation here.

To qualify in Virginia, you must:

• Be a Virginia resident
• Have a medical condition that may benefit from the use of medical cannabis products

Cost: $200

• $50 non-refundable deposit due at scheduling, will be applied to the total cost of the appointment
• Free 15-minute consultation to review the process

What to Bring to Your Appointment

• A valid, government-issued ID
• A list of your current medications (including doses and frequency) or the medication bottles
• Once you have access to The Psycannatrist’s patient portal, please upload any relevant medical records for the doctor to review before your appointment
